Mintage: 108,950
Total Population: 1224
MS63 Population: 124
Smithsonian Example: MS 60

The 1904-O eagle has an original mintage of 108,950 coins. However, just over 1% of that original mintage is known to have survived today. This is typically seen in AU55 to MS62, but becomes quite scarce in MS63 and MS64 grades. NGC and PCGS have only certified 124 coins in MS 63 grade and only 30 coins are known better.

This particular coin is one of the nicest examples we have ever seen. It is a coin with true premium quality eye-appeal. The fields are as smooth as butter and the entire coin is dripping with original mint luster. This coin also has very attractive green-gold and rose hues that are only seen on original unaltered coin surfaces from this year.
